Building relationships is the cornerstone of sales success - our reps secure new business to increase our market share and drive value. With total focus on new and existing accounts, they tend these relationships with the superior customer experience that is the hallmark of BMC.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Promotes, sells and secures new accounts for the company.
  2. Services existing accounts with necessary products, time and information.
  3. Assists with the selection of products best suited to customer needs.
  4. Prepares, coordinates and communicates price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers/contractors.

  8. Continuously offering customers BMC’s full product line and services, marketing full-package selling.
  9. Prepares, coordinates and communicates price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations to customers/contractors.
  10. Maintain high levels of service and quality.
  11. Prepares reports as directed by management to include sales, profit margin, and expense.
  12. Works with local & national accounts, with a focus on tract builder sales, to promote sales and resolve problems.
  13. Reviews new products and stays abreast of market.
  14. Works with operations manager to develop a consistent service level across locations.
  15. Other duties as assigned by location management.
Qualifications: 
REQUIRED SKILLS
  1. Minimum education required—Bachelors in sales, marketing or related field.
  2. Special skills required— Working knowledge of building materials industry and products, ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
  3. Special knowledge required—Working knowledge of accounting principles and local building codes and compliance requirements.
  4. Other—Computer literate.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  1. Minimum experience required—3 years sales experience in building materials supply.
